Colorway

Colorway terms of service

Effective October 3, 2026

Who these terms are between

These terms are an agreement between you, the merchant who installs Colorway on a Shopify store, and AndrewTechful ("we"), who provides the app. By installing or using Colorway you accept them. Shopify's own terms continue to govern your Shopify account, your store and the way Shopify bills you for apps.

What the app does

Colorway gathers separate products into groups and shows each group's colour swatches on its products' pages and under their product cards, through blocks you add to your theme. It can suggest groups from your product titles and tags, and import and export groups as a CSV file. Your groups are saved in your Shopify store.

Your responsibilities

Plans and billing

Prices are shown in the app before you pay and on the app's Shopify App Store listing; stores on Shopify Plus pay a higher price. They never depend on how many products, groups or visitors you have. Charges go through Shopify and appear on your Shopify invoice. Development stores are given free test charges.

If your store goes back to the free plan, for instance when you cancel Colorway Monthly, your 3 oldest groups keep showing and the others are kept but stop showing until you reactivate them or unlock more groups. If you believe you were charged in error, email info@andrewtechful.com and we will look into it with you; any refund is issued through Shopify. We may change prices for future purchases and billing periods, and we will tell you in the app before a change applies to you.

Your data

How the app reads, stores, retains and deletes data is described in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms: Colorway privacy policy

We use your store's data only to provide the app to you. We do not sell it or share it with anyone except the service providers the privacy policy names.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the app available and to fix problems promptly, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Your storefront's swatches are drawn by Shopify from your store's own data, so they keep showing even if the app's admin pages are briefly unavailable. We may improve or change the app. If we change these terms in a material way, we will post the new version here with a new effective date; continuing to use the app after that means you accept the change.

Warranty and liability

The app is provided as it is, without warranties beyond those the law requires.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending the agreement

You can stop at any time by uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin; a monthly subscription ends with it, and your data is handled as the privacy policy describes. Export your groups first if you want to keep them. We may suspend or end access for a store that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why.
